Superman’s home planet is named Krypton. Before coming to Earth, Superman was born as Kal-El on Krypton. Kal-El was found and adopted by the Kent family in Smallville, Kansas, who named him Clark Kent. As he grew up, he discovered his superhuman powers and eventually took on the persona of Superman.
