Saul Hudson is the real name of the guitarist better known as Slash. He gained fame as the lead guitarist for the American hard rock band Guns N’ Roses, with whom he achieved worldwide success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Known for his distinctive, bluesy playing style and his trademark top hat, sunglasses, and long, curly hair, Slash is considered one of the greatest guitarists in the history of rock music. After leaving Guns N’ Roses in the mid-1990s, Slash formed the group Slash’s Snakepit, later co-founded the supergroup Velvet Revolver, and has also released several successful solo albums.
